LUX skylights 40mm
LUX skylights 40mm
Polycarbonate skylights, core thickness 40mm.
The skylights always cover 1m in width.
Polycarbonate skylights are the ideal solution to get more daylight into your building. These are available in different types and insulation thicknesses.
The 'LUX' variant is available in 30mm and 40mm insulation thickness. The 30mm insulation thickness is often combined with roof panels with 3cm insulation ( ECO30 and ROOF30 ), because this entails simple assembly (the skylight is the same in terms of dimensions and profiling as the insulated roof panels).
The 40mm insulation thickness is mainly used with the 60mm and 100mm insulation thickness. This type of skylight is popular because of its good thermal values: with a U-value of 1.0, this panel scores as high as modern double glazing!
The LUX panels do require some finishing to function optimally: you have one end cap set is needed to seal the ends (make sure you choose the right thickness), and we always recommend using a overlap profile .
Important:Polycarbonate is a raw material characterized by a relatively large thermal expansion. It is therefore important to leave room for movement, so that the skylight can expand. That is why it is highly recommended to always pre-drill the skylights with a drill with a diameter of 10 mm. This borehole is then sealed with it saddle on the screw, so that you can still process the skylights watertight.
